The demand for higher bandwidth Wireless Access Points (WAPs) supporting LTE, 4G and the new emerging 5G Standards demands that the equipment must have higher data rate copper connectivity to avoid bottlenecks in data transmission. If it can also provide the power supply requirement via PoE - utilising the same UTP or STP cabling, then it simplifies deployment and positioning of indoor and outdoor small Cells, DAS units, WAPs and Mast head mount repeaters. This Designers Kit contains a selection of Discrete and Integrated Connector modules (ICMs) that will support both Power and Data for switches and end equipment. The Parts have approvals with all leading IEEE802.3bz and nGig PHYs on the market. The tables on the back page below gives a brief overview of the discrete.
